Met a moose family in the forest yesterday. This cow and two calves. She eyed me for a while and when I tried to go a little closer her ears told me not to do that so I stopped, grabbed a few snaps and turned around. I got the photo thanks to a man out walking his dog near Slätmossen in Handen. He pointed me in the right direction, so thanks for that!

It is a good idea to give a mama moose lots of space.
Cool! Du måste ha kommit hyfsat nära. Älgkon ser ut att inte vilja släppa dig med blicken, och jag kan förstå henne om hon hade kalvar i närheten och behövde bedöma vilken fara du eventuellt utgjorde. Kul att du fick bli vildmarksfotograf för en stund! :-)

Well this is one creature that I'm never going to come across on a walk Steffe.. but then again you will never come across a kangaroo :)
Haven't seen one in here. But we still see some deer and foxes.
