Afternoon Light
I had to think hard before coming up with a suitable photo and idea for the November theme day. Ephemeral is Efemär in Swedish. November is not my favorite month. It gets dark so early in the afternoon this time of the year. Sunset today was just before 4:00 p.m. which means that we had daylight for no more than nine hours. And that's why I picked this photo of the Afternoon Light for the theme day. The sun was on it's way down at the Eskilsparken yesterday when I took this photo of the common beech.

Beautifully shot. Sunlight of that intensity can be elusive this time of year!
Splendid golden hour light, beautifully captured!
It is a clever approach to the "ephemeral" theme. The light is really intense at that time of day, and the falling leaves emphasize the theme, too.
Light is so fleeting Steffe and you have capture this golden moment beautifully
¡Que maravilla!
I could not find another word to describe this photo!
It's a lovely shot! Sunset was just after 5 pm here today and I hate it! Counting the days until the day start to get longer!
Great theme day shot.
Wonderful capture of light and subject!
Gorgeous image with an inspired point of view.
Yes light and color are fantastic now. Great shot.
That's a real statement on your latitude when daylight is considered to be ephemeral. That is a beautiful shot. I really like the perspective.
What a gorgeous photo! I love it.
Mycket behagligt ljus i denna bild.
I understand what you are saying about the light. It is so soft.
