Wonderful macro.. but how can you tell it's a female catkin?
Great macro series, thanks for the Swedish lesson, I think I pronounced it well... Grrrrr agggghhh noty.
Gotta ask--- And you know it's a female how?
I looked it up in a book, and then I googled a bit. But then again I could be wrong!
It certainly stands out well.
I imagine my pronouncing the word would sound wrong.
How do you know this is a female?
I think it's called 'amento' here...
