Argos

Old City Hall
In my youth I was once questioned by the police in that building, (guilty as charged). Old City Hall in Handen has been empty for a few years now. But it is now being rebuilt into an apartment building. The location is not too bad. It sits in the middle of the Haninge mall. The view from the top of the building (115 AMSL), will be spectacular with views over Stockholm and the archipelago, and you will have to pay good money to live in any of the 115 apartments. The construction work was delayed for more than a year because of parking issues, but that has been fixed. The name of the new apartment will be Argos (from Greek mythology), don't ask me why!

Who's a bad boy then, mind you I have been questioned as well in the Oxford St Aldgates station. Good idea refubishingthe place and not demolishing it

Now I'm intrigued Steffe, what did you get up to in your youth :) I can see here and in last post (fab panorama) that Perth is not alone in much construction going on!

As you say that is going to be a stunning residential building, and with the parking in front very accessible. And you have your own memories in regards to the place (but maybe the people living there will make better ones :).

Questioned by the police huh... How intriguing. This was a great scene to shoot in black and white!

Was it shooting photos without poetic license?

You will have to show this to us again when it is completed. I'm wondering how they will reconfigure it.

Peculiar given that I associate Argos with a nautical theme in mythology.

I am curious to see it completed!
