Empty Beaches
My series with proof that Summer might be coming to an end continues in this post. These are the two beaches at the Upper Lake at the Rudan Nature reserve. It was a sunny (but windy), August day and I was the only one there, until I heard a bit of laughter. A dad and his teenage daughter were walking out into the lake. Not to swim, just to see if the water was still warm. He figured it was. She didn't.

Lovely shot.
A beaut place to try my SUP, I usually don't even get my feet wet. If summer is ending there it means that winter is also ending here.
Here in Denmark it has turned from blazing hot to cool overnight.
Summer comes to an end so much sooner in your corner of the globe.
Summer seems to be coming to an end here too. You can feel the chill in the air in the late evenings.
Summer came early this year. This might be a temporary setback and I'm hoping for warmer weather again next week.
What a nice scene. I guess you don't have many days of swimming there.
