Cool Car of the Day

Thunderbird
Back in August at the big Greaser meet there were a few cars that I couldn't shoot the way I wanted as they were crammed in everywhere so I was quite happy when I spotted one of them a few weeks later. This is a 1960 Ford Thunderbird. This was one of the first Brenizer method photos I shot with the 85mm lens. Mid-shoot the owner and daughter walked into the frame, so I had to explain that I needed to take a few more photos before they could drive off. Came out kinda cool me thinks.

A beautiful car indeed, Steffe! Somehow your effect and lens on this car makes it appear much smaller than it is.....I think! Cool!

And you're right. People in the US would go crazy over this.

Great car, love the shape, the grill and the soft-top - but it should have chrome wheels, not black. Ah well, nice one.

I have a friend with a retro T-Bird. This original T-Bird is a gem.

Your country is full of reasonable people. Here if they they see me taking pictures of a car they will probably call the police...

Detta blev ett mycket lyckat exempel på Brenizer-metoden. Riktigt bra!

The car is super cool, but I love the effect. Looks like a toy.
