Remembering Halvdan

Runestone Runestone at Norrby
This runestone stands on a grassy field at Opp-Norrby in Handen. I took the Autumn snap last week, and the somewhat greener photo back in June. The message written with the futhark runic alphabet dates back one thousand years. It says something like this: Torfast had this stone raised after his son Halvdan. A farmer found the stone on his land back in 1915.
