Walking Horse

Walking Horse

A Tungelsta Walking Horse...

There was a horse farm here at Ålsta just a few years ago, but as Ålsta is changing and a new housing area has been built the horses had to go. So it was a bit of a surprise yesterday when I met this couple and the horse. But they only have to walk a few hundred meters to find another horse farm.

It is nice to see horses. I was born around horses and other farm animals and considered them all friends. A lot more friendly than some of the modern human neighbors we have had. Nice shot too.

Strangely enough Steffe, the snow is the colour of our sand! Those could be houses built in the dunes!

Interesting photo--love to see the horse--I got my master's degree studying horses!

I love that BLACK SKY! WOW! Very dramatic!

It was a dramatic sky, but we didn't get any bad weather. There are many horse farms around here so I often photograph horses and horse back riders. That white sand sounds warm!

Both of my grandfathers came from Sweden. This is a beautiful scene. I will have to visit soon!
