Stockholm

Urvädersgränd

I was planning to shoot a few shots of Stockholm yesterday, but something came up and I had to cancel my visit. So here is a photo I took one year ago. I can promise you that it looks the same today!
This is Hawk Street on Södermalm in Stockholm. Mosebacke Torg (famous for the amazing view) and Södra teatern (theatre) is around the corner. This part of town has become very hip in the last few years. I used to work not long from here and have spent many summer nights in this part of the Capitol.

I agree with Kris, the atmosphere has something to it. Looks completly different from most parts of American cities. Lovely!

I enjoyed looking at your photographs very much. I spent quite a lot of time in Stockholm during the Winter of 2002. I had never seen frozen seas before and was amazed to see all the huts on the sea and people fishing through holes. I have never been back and coming across your blog has made me wish to return. It is a beautiful city and the old town is very special. thank you for sharing these photographs.
