I nearly fell off my bike when I noticed the beautiful Sanne sitting on the bench at Poseidon's Square in Handen, but I did manage to stay upright long enough to ask her for a portrait. Sanne lives in Tyresö, a neighbouring municipality to Haninge. Earlier this summer she graduated from secondary school where she was studying law and social science. She is planning to get a higher education, but for the next year or so Sanne will be working at a restaurant in Stockholm called Hurry Curry. On her free time she works out at a gym, and if you think she has a great tan, that's thanks to a recent family vacation on Crete. As I was taking a few portraits, Sanne's equally beautiful sister Catlin showed up, so I decided to take a few photos of the sisters together. Catlin who is a few years younger is herself a secondary school student and is reading the same course as Sanne did. As you can probably guess I couldn't decide which photos to use so I created a set with some of the photos I took of the young women.

Two Girls on a Lawn
I was on my way to a supermarket in Handen yesterday when I saw these two pretty girls sitting on a lawn. So I decided to join them for a chat and a portrait. This is Emily and Victoria. They are sisters. Both secondary students. Emily attends Young Business Creatives in Nacka. A state funded school where the programme is taught in English. Emily sees herself as a future journalist. Before that she plans to study abroad. One of her hobbies include painting. Victoria is a student at Nacka Gymnasium. She wants to work with people, but hasn't decided on her future yet. She enjoys Street Dancing. After our talk I was going to take a few photos and that's when I realised that I had left my memory card at home. Luckily for me I had an old 256 mb cf card in the camera bag!

Linda & Evelina
At the ancient grave field I see two beautiful redheads approaching. I say hello and ask if I can take a photo. This is Linda and Evelina. They are sisters. Linda (to the left) lives in Haninge and her younger sister Evelina is visiting from Borås. Linda has done a few photography gigs. Her boyfriend works as a clothes designer for Blue Fox , the biggest punk and hard rock boutique in the country, and she has done some fashion shoots for them. And she has won a few internet photography competitions. Evelina who will be a ninth grader come the fall, is into acting. She has been in a local group for a few years now. Their next play will be A Christmas Carol by Dickens. I take a few shots and they tell me that as it's Sunday they are not really dressed in their normal fashion, we look way cooler in the week days. Both girls are at Bilddagboken, a Swedish photo community. Here is a link to Evelina's site. And here's Linda's site. We talk a little more and they we say goodbye.
This is my 53th photo for the 100 Strangers project. You can see the rest of my strangers in my Set.
