Space

Space Space
Two stories here. The highrise building here is one of five such buildings at Hötorget in Stockholm. They look similar, but had five different architects when they were built, and if you want to, you can read about them at Wikipedia.Second story. Space. Opening today at that high-rise. It will be the world’s largest gaming center, with over 400 gaming setups. Or, as they explain it themselves: Space is a digital culture center in the heart of Stockholm city. A physical meeting place for the digital generation. Our concept combines key ingredients of digital culture – gaming, music, content creation and digital knowhow, all under one roof. We offer an inclusive environment for people to connect, collaborate and create – enabling communities to thrive and explore new opportunities.

That gaming center concept sounds quite unique and I'm betting it will be popular. The building is interesting. I took a look at the link. Those architects must have collaborated a bit to keep their designs so uniform.

For buildings from the fifties they don't look to bad but the sovjet brutalism is in them while the buildings from Skidmore, Owings and Merrill had a more sophisticated refinement through the application of a glass curtain wall.
