Rikstelefon
An old Rikstelefon phone booth, or telefonkiosk as we liked to call them back in the day. You will find it next to the old stationhouse in Nynäshamn. The state owned company that made it started out as Kongl. Elektriska Telegraf-Werket. A few name changes later we all called it Televerket. The telephones came from Ericsson. Sadly you can't call anyone from inside the booth unless you use your own smartphone. The old pay-phone was removed a number of years ago.

So different from our public phone boxes Steffe, I like them it's a shame they aren't in use anymore.
It is beautiful!
They looked like this a century ago. The modern ones were quite forgettable.
I remember seeing one of these on one of our holidays in Sweden. Really beautiful.
That does look distinctive.
Agreat looker with lots of fresh air.
It is good that they left this here. (Or that they built a modern replica.) Phone booths like this were important parts of urban life "back in the day" and it is fun to see them now.
I believe this is an original Jack.
