From a distance I noticed a moose family, so I jumped off my bike and tried to walk a little closer without scaring away the wildlife, as they were enjoying some grass on a field. They obviously knew that I was coming so when I came around the bend they were already at a safe distance at the edge of the forest.

I met two moose on my driveway a couple of days ago. I did manage to get a photo but I haven't uploaded it somewhere, will show it to you if I do.
Their survival instinct! Great that you can ride around such places.
Cycling home just 30 minutes ago a moose was standing under a tree next to the bike path. It was very dark, the moose noticed me and walked in to the stream that follows the path just to be safe.
