The view from the old water tower
I finally made my way up the very narrow stairs to the top of the old water tower at the Trehörningen island. The observation tower was destroyed in a fire last Summer, but is now open for the public once again. Beautifully restored I might add. Ten points for the wooden benches. Here are a few of the views that you can see from up there. Top photo shows the Bedarön island, and behind that the Mysingen bay. Third snap is of the brick church from 1930. Fourth photo sees the Paris Villa. Fifth snap is of the port, and behind it, the oil harbour. The one after that is of the new water tower. Might show you a few more views tomorrow. Summer has returned here now after all the rain. We don't have the 40C weather that you might have, but is nice enough between 20C and 25C.

It is always nice to be able to take a somewhat higher stand with regard to your surroundings.
Wow, spectacular views.
Great views. Sometimes it's better to look at the pictures than poetry translations :-)
What incredible views you got from the tower. It was definitely worth the trek up to the top.
Wonderful views, especially the first.
