The piano company was founded in 1889 by August Roth in Germany. This old piano was abandoned at a golf course in Västerhaninge 2016.

Strange place to see a piano... but it makes for an interesting photo.

It looks like an old player piano. Unfortunately, I don't think it can play golf!
A curious place to leave a piano!
How odd to leave a piano here.
This piano looks old? How about the number of keys? Nowadays, pianos have 88 keys. Does this instrument have only 85 ones? That's their telltale sign. Another telltale sign are the white keys Are they made of ivory?
If it still sounds good (apart from being out of tune) it is because the harp (the massive iron piece that holds the chords) is not broken or cracked.
As a retired concert pianist, I get so excited when I see a piano. This one is a regular upright one...just look at the pedals.....

Spot on Maria. All the white keys were gone. I'm guessing someone cleaned out an old house or an apartment, and decided to just dump the piano by the side of the road. People are weird.
