Twas the day before Christmas
Twas the day before Christmas (we celebrate on the 24th), and these happy people were queuing outside the Systembolaget in Västerhaninge, waiting for the chance to queue a bit more inside. Systembolaget is the government owned chain of liquor stores, and the only (legal), place where you can shop alcoholic beverages. Skål!

A very disconcerting view.
We have the LCBO (Liquor Control Board Of Ontario) where the lineups are the same. I did my shopping last week!
Our liquor stores are pretty much the same here too.
Oh dear. As bad as Pennsylvania. And very expensive in your country, if I understand correctly. Here in Missouri and in most US states you can get whatever you want at the supermarket or a convenience store..
hope you had a good one!!
we celebrate it on chirstmas eve, and thenon the 25th, and on the 26th as well!! (so there is no way to escape any family, everyone its own visit day. dutch efficiency... ;) )
