Moa

Moa
It was a beautiful day Sunday. Quite a few people at the Rudan nature reserve. Moa was sitting on a bench near the water enjoying the sunshine when I arrived. She is studying to become an occupational therapist, just like the Lolita that I met earlier in the week. Moa comes from Haparanda in the North of Sweden, but these days she lives in a student apartment here in Handen. When she's not tanning herself on the bench, chances are that you will find her either out jogging or working out at the gym. This is another Brenizer method portrait, fifteen photos stitched together. Shot with the nifty fifty at f.2.

Young girls are now keeping at 40-45 kg, I think that's a good thing !

I simply have to try this, as soon as I can find my 50 mm lens (it's in that closet somewhere). You must be tall. Do you ever try kneeling or squatting when you take these wonderful portraits?

Thanks people. You really should have a go at it Bob. A bit tricky to shoot a Brenizer while kneeling, you might loose your balance. The perspective might not be 100 & accurate when you use this method, so Moa might look a bit taller here than in actual life.

wonderful!
I've never heard of this method. It must be difficult with a person who could move!

She is a classic beauty!

Re your question on Ocala: I've stuck with a gray color for a long time and will probably continue doing that! :)

This is a beautiful portrait. I have to say that although most blogs feature "things" and "places" some of my favorites have been of people like this one.

Another well taken portrait. Is that a traditional Swedish name?

Stefan Jansson said...

Indeed it is. 16 000 women and one man with that name in Aweden at the moment. The first persopn with that name was the famous author Moa Martinson. I have met her grand daughter a few times.

Love this picture, the girl is a beauty, but I really hate to type these strange words to prove that I am not a robot!

I know what you mean Mr.Poet. There's so many spam comments at the moment so I needed a way to stop that. Hopefully it is temporary.

I like the way she looks directly into the camera, a very confident young lady. You captured her well Steffe.

I have, for the same reason, hacking and spamming, deleted most of my blogs. So, at the moment you can visit me at Wordpress if you wish.
