Early Signs of Autumn

That Old Tree

Ripe Fruit

Everywhere I go I see signs of Autumn. Walking down the path towards the old tree on Saturday it was easy to see that the tree looked red in the afternoon sunshine. The berries are ripe and soon the Bohemian Waxwings will have a feast.

Yes... the signs are all around and increasing every day... I always enjoy each new season and the change over from one to the next... I love autumn. You've captured the first subtle signs well...

I always like seeing your old tree. We are feeling and seeing the early signs of fall here, too.

Doo the folks thereabouts know how famous this old tree is?

I know autumn must be making itself known up there, as spring has definitely sprung down here!

Usually a splash of red would be from turning leaves, not berries.

I recommend a visit today to Perth Daily Photo, as she is featuring touch of Sweden in Australia.

It doesn't get any better than this. Well, maybe in spring.

What a famous old tree that is Steffe, but have we seen it covered in these red berries before? I think not, love the close up of the berries!

Some of them do Julie. Whenever I met someone here I tell them about my tree project.

Will do Dave.

Wonderful photos. I like your tree series very much.
Signs of autum everywhere. Collected falling leaves and nuts today.
