The Pink Pop Punk Girl

The Pink Pop Punk Girl

This is a teenager that is hard to miss. Steffi is a secondary school student from Tungelsta. She plays the drums in a pop punk band called Trimmad Rullator (The Tuned Walker). Two years from now when she graduates from school she will probably start working as an assistant in a tattoo studio called PMS. Oh, and yes Julie, Steffi told me that she already have four tattoos. Not bad for a sixteen year old girl.

Pink shaggy boots to match her hair. Very nice. I guess.

I look at her face and I see wariness. I look at her hands and I see nervousness. I would love to know more about her life circumstances. Four tatts already, eh? And a couple of visible rings. And the aspiration to be an assistant in a tatt parlour. But she looks looks healthy and well-clothed. I would need to walk a mile in her shoes to appreciate her choices.

I surprised that she has 4 tatts already! I echo Julie's comment. Is there anyone in your area without a tatt who wears a folkdrakt?

Too hot for pink furry clothing, probably even in Sweden. She's making a point.

Trying a little too hard, I think. But then again, she's only 16.

She's young and gorgeous, that's the time to experiment, although the tats will be a permanent reminder!!

She's holding my MOO Minicard in her hands, she might have looked more relaxed if she had pocketed it!

A few Leif. That would be some of the members of the historical society.

The impressions of Julie are quite accurate, but I like her unusual portrait.

Aren't her feet too warm in summer?

I dunno...I guess I don't understand teens at all anymore. And if she's trying to make a statement, I don't get it.

But, hey, it's a big world and there's enough room for all of us. I think! :-)

What a pretty girl! Teenagers are hard for adults to understand no matter what era they come from.
