The snow is always tastier on the other side

The snow is always tastier on the other side

Spotted this hungry horse on my way home from a visit to the old tree the other day. This is a horse pasture at Välsta in Tungelsta. Not sure who owns this horse, but for all I know it could be Patricia.

Belle photo, bien vu la photo. Pas facile pour le cheval de trouver son herbe

This image has a wonderful quality, the mix of color, texture, the tension of the horse against the fence, the beautiful simplicity of the elements...really good image.

Aw, nice catch, and what an intruiging mohawk-ish mane that horse has.

You have to wonder about the thought process; nicely spotted.

I can't see grass involved in this, but he probably knows better...

Perfect caption for this photo!

Poor horse! I'd say in this case the grass may be greener on the other side of the fence! If he can find any under the snow! Tough way to get something to eat.

It's a super picture, Steffe; great contrast between horse, fence and snow.

Hopefully the horses here are being fed hay in the stable, but you never know what you might find under the snow!

Spot on Sharon, it does have a bit of a Mohawk going on here.
