Ping Pong, Anyone?
We really enjoy sport in this country. And winter sports especially because of the long winters. We are only two months away from the next winter games in Vancouver. Swedish athletes won nine gold medals in Torino, and we will try to defend the Ice-hockey gold as well as the gold medals we won in the different ski disciplines. But I wonder if this somewhat unusual sport will ever make it to the Olympics? Outdoor Winter Table Tennis?

That would be a very hard sport, but it might be fun to watch. We had snow like that last week but warmer temps and rain washed most of it away.
I don't think anyone will be playing ping pong on this table any time soon! What a great shot.
This is funny. This makes about as much sense as trying to play golf in the snow.
I am ready to play!
tres bon ;o)) il faut une balle de basket ;o)
Snow, as in ice - I feel cold just looking at this.
Cheers.

those icicles say it all.
Brrr! I think winter table tennis would mostly consist of trying to find the ball. I'm looking forward to the winter olympics too, although since we're just across the border from Vancouver it'll be interesting to see how it impacts our small town.
I think the snow will affect ball flight!
Yep, with snowballs. You start playing pingpong, the balls get bigger, you carry on playing football with them, and you build a snowman at the end, all with the same balls. It's magic!
They do play winter golf up north. I'm guessing it will take few years to get this new sport accepted by the IOC!
Not so easy...
