A Summer Evening
MaCoBra left a comment a few days ago asking me if it wasnt time for another photo of the old tree at Välsta so here it is, the most famous tree in Haninge. Shot this on Saturday. It was a beautiful summer evening. I was the only one there, and to prove that here is a 360 panorama shot from a stony area on a field.
The only thing different from my last visit was the hay bales on the side of the path. As I left Välsta I met an Englishwoman on a bike and we agreed on the fact that it was a perfect evening for a bike ride.

No one there except you, your shadow and your camera. Looks like you were there at the perfect time of day. Nice panorama too.
I love this tree and this road running beside it and I'm always happy when you bring us back there. As usual, this is a very fine shot. I also love finding you in the shot with your camera stance in shadow.
Complete with shadow! I have been thinking the same thing lately with all those bucolic photos you have been posting!
I am not a countryside guy and I am saying this to underline what follow.
At times the noise, the people, the engines in a city, even in a small one, overwhelm you. The simple fact of looking at your photos is a deep breath of fresh air. I love that tree.
(I suspect there is a Bofors test ground behind those hills and you're hiding this from us...)
He there it is! I love that tree, when I am over in Stockholm I should try to find it and leave a message...:)
It will be on my desktop for a few days!
The tree, the tree, the tree! Yeah! We haven't seen that for awhile, Steffe!
And what a beautiful shot! Thanks!
Steffe - great trees snaps! The BIG single tree reminds me of the OAK tree on my EAGAN daily photo blog header. Our single Oak tree is the symbol of EAGAN.
Ha det sa bra
Quite lovely, and lush color. I, too, leave my shadow as a signature in a picture once in a while.
Gorgeous tree and gorgeous lighting! Very nice capture!!!!!!
Beautiful panorama!
Wish I was there to join you for a ride.
It's like seeing an old friend! Thanks!
