My friend Hasse wanted to go for another promenade. He is recovering from a back issue so he walks a little slower than usual and prefers a somewhat shorter walk, so we drove to the port city of Nynäshamn and walked the picturesque part of Strandvägen. Lots to photograph during that walk so that is what I did. In the seventh photo you can see Hasse chatting away with the man that operated the Lövhagen Café & Vandrarhem for three decades. And half an hour after that chat we enjoyed coffee and cake from that place. It was a chilly day but plenty of people out and about as you can see. The spa in the first photo is called Nynäs Havsbad. Strandvägen is a ring road and is one way for most of it, unless you are a cyclist. There was a classic car rally here a few weeks ago which I missed so when I heard the Pontiac I quickly turned around for a photo. The photos with houses on them are from an islet called Trehörningen. There are a few small beaches along this stretch but it was a little too cold for sunbathing on this day.
