Welcome to Solsäter

Hjältevadshus

I have shown you some new housing areas in and around Tungelsta lately. And here is another one. This is Solsäter in Lida. All in all 55 new homes will be built, in what up until a few years ago was a forest. This house is a Hjältevadshus, one of 23 houses from that company to be set up here. It is still on the market. I guess sales has slowed down a bit lately, and prices have gone down as well. But a few families have already moved in here, and come summer, this area will probably feel more alive then it did on my recent promenade. More photos from Solsäter in my flickr set.

A New View

A New View

A brand new view. This is Solsäter, a new area in Tungelsta. 55 houses will be built here, around 15 are already in place. This panorama was shot from a hill that has been cleared from all the trees. No idea why as there are no houses planned up here. But the view is pretty good and new. I met a visiting couple, their friends are building a new home here, see photo below. They had been watching the sunset from the hill the other night, and it was a good one they told me. You will see more at the original size.

One more...

Prefab House

Two New Houses

Since no one seems interested in these types of construction site photos, here's another one. This is from Solsäter in Lida. In total 55 new houses will be built here. All prefabricated.

New House

New House

Not the best weather for putting up a new house. It was raining on and off all day. This is the third house being lifted in place at Solsäter in Lida. All the houses are prefabricated and arrive on trucks. It can take up to a day to unload all parts including the roof. Then depending on whether you do the rest yourself or hire a professional anything from a month to four months before you can move in. This one of the many building sites around Haninge that I try to follow with my cameras.

Bigger photo.

Solsäter

Mr. Blomquist

21 months after I took the first photo in this area, the first prefab house is up at Solsäter in Lida. This house have been bought by Tomas Blomquist. I talked to his dad and he said that his son expects to be moving in here in June. The prefab comes from Trivselhus, a company that builds prefabricated wooden houses. Here is a map over this house and the others that will follow in this the first stage of building. There's still a few new roads to be built here. One will go up in the forest behind that red house I have shown you before. I will probably be back here with a new photo come summer.

360 Panorama

All we need now is for someone to build a house here!

This is a 360 panorama photo from Solsäter in Lida, Tungelsta. A new housing area. Another small forest gone. Soon there will be 55 houses here. They started working on this project 16 months ago. All the preparations are now done with roads, water, electricity and more and all that's missing now are the houses. They will be built as soon as the land has been sold. I noticed one SOLD sign so it will not be long now I guess.
