A message from the Vikings

A message from the Vikings
This Viking Era runestone is known as the Valsta Stone. The runic inscription reads:sikni(u)- raisti stai- -t siRuþr faþur sin siba --(o)þur - In Swedish: Signjut reste stenen efter Sigröd, sin fader, Sibbes broder. And in English Signjut had the stone raised after Sigröd, his fader, brother of Sibbe. You will find it by the side of the old gravel road at Tjursta.

I'm impressed that you know some of the ancient language and that the stone isn't weathered more severely.

That's fascinating! I'm surprised it hasn't been taken by some museum.
