Mind Your Step
Twenty-four thousand people will injure themselves this winter by slipping on snow and ice. This is a good spot for such an accident. The stairs between the shopping centre and the commuter station in Västerhaninge. At least there is the railing to hold on to.

That is a scary view!
Yikes! And what if the railing is icy, too?
My sister fell and broke her hip on ice a couple of years ago. She still walks with a cane!
Very dangerous!
Oh, my. I think I'd try to avoid those stairs on the icy days.
In the USA someone would say that this scene is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
Careful, careful! Haste makes waste! Don't be in a hurry! C'est tous!
An excellent shot of the stairway.

il faut y aller doucement doucement, belle scène de rue
I was happy to see that the individual was using the railing. If I had to use those stairs on a regular basis, I would attach my YakTrax without hesitation. The steps look very ominous!!
Snow in Sweden,sunshine in Greece!
For the first time we have such difference in climate situations.
I would like to have snow for a few days!
This looks extremely slippery. I think I'd have chosen a different route.
Whoa from the looks of things it looks like that person is going to get it bad!
A brave mountain climber on her way up the stairs (also, a nice photograph.) The first few years that I lived in snow and ice I fell a lot, but have since learned how to walk on it. And wear those pointy things on the bottoms of my shoes!

I don't think that I would try that! Too scary.
They do look treacherous!
Nä men titta! VH centrum :)
This stairway would be an excellent target for a pacific use of a flamethrower!
One false step and you're in for the ride of your life down those stairs. Beware!
There's also a bike path here that is equally icy.
If you are going down the icy railing will make the decent a bit quicker I think Jacob!
In Haninge the office responsible for this is the Stadsbyggnadsförvaltningen. That's a long word isn't it!
Thanks J Bar.
YakTrax is a cheap way to stay away from the emergency room!
She made it to the top Paul!
Visst är det så.
I will pass that idea on to them Mr. Poet!
I hear you Kostas!
