S/V Ariel
The S/V Ariel on the Hårsfjärden bay. The ship was built in Norway in 1917 and used as a fishing boat. During WV II it came under attack from German aircraft. Later the ship was used by smugglers and it was during that period that it sunk off the Norwegian coast in the 1970ths. Some time later two brothers, called Jernelius salvaged the ship and in 1984 the Haninge municipality bought the Ariel, which has been used as a training ship ever since.
