Gamla Sjökrigsskolan

Gamla Sjökrigsskolan
Impressive looking building at Skeppsholmen where the navy first arrived in 1640, and stayed there until the 1960s. This building dates back to 1878 as it says on the facade. The architect was Axel Fredrik Nyström. This was the Royal Swedish Naval Academy for many years. On the facade you can also read the names of a few old heroes. This is a panorama from nine photos. I would have liked to have more of the building in the photo, but there were a few parked cars and more in the way. I also had to remove a couple of traffic signs.

It is an incredible image with 9 for a stitch up. Elegant carving and decorations in the building.
