This can sometimes happen when you are speedwalking...
The building in the background is the old school in Tungelsta. I was a student there for one year as a first grader back in the early 1970s. My mother Lillemor Jansson was a student there for six years, between 1945 and 1951, as was my paternal grandfather Harald Fredrik Jansson, who started third grade here when the school was brand new back in 1913 and it is his class photo you can see here.

My great, great grandparents attended elementary school in Sweden, but I don't know where, and they came to the USA, and the family has scattered. The concept of attending the same school as one's ancestors is quite foreign to me.

Are those two pairs of walkers the same people duplicated, or did you pay those guys to dress exactly alike in the perfect colors for the shot? Whatever - I LOVE the shot. The colors and the walkers, and the beautiful old school - wonderful.

Undrar om äppelträden fortfarande bär frukt? Vad jag kommer ihåg var de ju inte precis ungträd, och i mitt fall gick jag i den här skolan 1956-58. Jag kommer ihåg att ett av träden var ett astrakanäppelträd.
