Cycling on the old road to Nynäshamn these days means that you are only likely to meet other, (happy), cyclists. Very different from a few years ago when this was one of the most accident ridden roads in the country. The new highway opened for traffic back in 2010 and the only people using the old road are locals and cyclists like these happy riders.

Glad to hear that the road is no longer as dangerous as it once was! I know that bikers have the same rights on our roads as other vehicles but some of them push the limits and get too close to the cars and some car drivers actually try to run the bikers off the road, often with tragic results. One of the best things about our Trilogy community is the trail system which allows you to ride many miles in relative safety.

We have similar problems Lowell. Lots of haters out there behind the wheels.
We sure do Pat. 23C today and it looks like the warm weather will stay for the rest of the week.
