Jim Rockford (James Garner), had one of these. A 1975 Pontiac Firebird. Although he crashed his car in pretty much every episode. Probably my favourite show back in the day. The funniest character in that show was the always very nervous Angel played by the great Stuart Margolin. Nice classic car! Rockford Files was my favorite show when it was on. Angel was always up to something. Ah, the memories :)

What a great car. I never saw the series, but Garner was one of those actors who could make any role a good one.
It was fun to go online and take another look at Rockford's "bird". :-)
