Money well spent

Mellanberg
Believe it or not, the municipality paid 31 000 000 SEK for the Mellanberg property earlier this year. It is situated at Kolartorp in Handen where a new "city" called Vegastaden is currently under construction. No word yet what they plan to do with it. It was once a farm and a laundry. More photos from Mellanberg in my set.

Good fined. That old shack is a photographer's paradise.

Hmmm, I hope there's a lot of property involved!

There's a big old farm house and a few barns. You can easily save the bigger barn and the farm house, but the rest of the buildings are probably not worth saving, although that depends what they want to do with them i guess.

Old shacks are fun to photograph.

Fun to photograph, but pretty dangerous. Someone needs to give it a little shove and push it down.

So that's around 3.5 million US dollars. I hope at least the plumbing works.
