These are an odd discovery and an odd photograph. Your lantern is very sharp, but the background -- even the near background -- is quite blurred. I am wondering if this was accomplished by your 50mm or 85mm lens, or if it is another Bernizer (?) method photo.

It looks exotic and out of place, something more like the Middle East than Scandinavia.
