That Old Tree
Another week, another visit to the old tree.I met Christina on my way to the old tree this time. She was out walking with Stefan. Christina told me about some of the more interesting birds that visit her place, Övre Välsta. Like the Common Quail, the Brown Owl and The Black Woodpecker, and she promised to give me a call if and when they showed up.This is photo number 308 of the old tree. Christina also makes an appearance on a Summer visit to the Swedish Whitebeam.

This makes a change. The Old Tree look comfortable with visitors. (I have just looked at your recent photos...all lovely. I am impressed that you get such a crisp white. I don't always...for me snow comes out too bright on a sunny day. Work in progress, I guess.)
It looks like it was one of those wonderful winter days. The tree looks happy.
That old tree is always worth another visit.
Very beautiful!!!
Greetings from the Netherlands,

You celebrate this tree like I do our Arch, but trees have a more varied life.
The tree is looking good Steffe, surviving the wintery weather, I cannot believe all that snow, looks so beautiful and crisp.
