Daily photos, portraits, and stories from Haninge, Stockholm and Södertörn in Sweden.
My compliments to the chef! It looks delicious. The butchers businesses here are booming now.
Hopefully, no hind quarters of trusty, faithful Trigger.
A number of jokes are coming out on this topic of horse meat everywhere. Your photo looks reasonably appetizing but who knows???:)
It looks pretty good. If it does include horse meat, why is that such a big problem for everyone?
One reason is that the horses are given high dozes of the painkiller phenylbutazone. Also known as bute. And that can cause life-threatening conditions in humans, such as blood dyscrasia.
Oh no Steffe, I would have to know the the life story of my burger before I eat it haha!
Everyone ate the burgers except Conny, for it was his pony.
Poor Conny!
I didn't know about the painkiller...
French people eat horsemeat. They sell it in the supermarkets there. I guess the newspeople have to find something to rant on about.
Looks so yummy!
A lot of people used to eat horse meat here. Not so much now but there are still some horse butchers around, though much rarer...
I would say if the taste is good, enjoy it and don't think to much.Greetings,Filip
I hope you are right!!:)
