Cherry Blossom

Under the Cherry Blossom Cherry Blossom A Pink Spring People seem obsessed with Cherry Blossom photos and I can't really blame them, so instead I will join them. Here are three photos from three places in Handen, all shot in the last few days. The first one shows a popular spot near an entrance to the Haninge mall. A flickr contact told me that she usually celebrates the arrival of spring by enjoying an ice cream under the cherry blossom here. I took the second photo because of the color combination. The third photo is from a private garden sort of, you walk under the blooming trees when you pass the property on the sidewalk. All photos shot with The Nifty Fifty.

This is the time of year the trees bloom their beauty and you have captured that beauty for the world to see.

To me, this is one of the best signs of SPRING.

Definitely a case of 'if you can't beat them join them' Steffe. The blossoms are out for such a short time that you have to make the most of it!!

Don't mind a good cherry blossom, I'll send you mine in 6 months. Hope you had an ice cream too.

It's hard not to be obsessed with such a beautiful blossom. Supported by stunning photos.

Nice shots! After a long winter blossoms like these are worth obsessing over. And it's certainly not too soon for ice cream, either!

These are delightful images, Steffe, capturing the delicacy and beauty of these blossoms!

When you post flower photos, you may consider posting them up on my Floral Friday Fotos mem, also. It is open for contributions from Thursday (Australian EST) through to Wednesday the next week:

Gorgeous, and so late in the year. The cherries in Washington and Kyoto bloom in early to mid April. They vanish quickly but they will return next year.
