Another visit to the King's park, Kungsträdgården, for a final, (?), look at the Cherry Blossom mania. A couple kissing while taking a smartphone selfie. Two people setting up for a video with that cinematic look. Walking by. Looking at it all. Shooting in macro mode, and having your dog pose for you. A short visit this time, but I am happy with the photos.

A first bunch of photos from the Cherry Blossom mania, Hanami, at The King's Garden in central Stockholm. Always a spectacle. The trees were a gift from the Japanese Emperor Akihito, and were planted here in 1998.

Last year I caught a virus and was out for three weeks during the Cherry Blossom mania at Kungsträdgården. Better luck this year. This is from last week, before the real color explosion. Expect way too many photos to come. I am a week or more behind when it comes to photo editing though so it could be a while.

Cherry Blossom Mania

Twelve days late, I finally made it to the Cherry Blossom mania at Kungsträdgården. Always a great event that attracts visitors from all over the world. I come here to photograph the people and the photographers. So here are the first three photos I took yesterday. Way too many more to come, I'm afraid. It was a fine spring day, warm and sunny. I rode 72 kilometers, and if you don't count the coughing and the snoring, it was nice to be back riding again.
