March equinox
We had a snow storm yesterday, and that's when I took the crocus photo. This morning it snowed again. But all the white stuff from these latest snow falls are already gone. As I'm typing this it has started to rain.

beautifully caught...the margin of seasons.
Our winter was mild. It was like spring. Now this spring is like summer. It is hot. We have not had snow in the winter and none in the spring but we have had mild weather.
After I was hacked I had to give up my old user name and the blogs that went with it. My Birds Blog was among the give-ups.
So this is the new birds blog and I hope you can come visit. Birds Birds Birds and Birds
I wish the snow would melt here also. Nice photo.
Beautiful image Steffe, those little crocus' are desperately trying to get through aren't they.
I thought you might like this link http://beachsafe.org.au/beach/wa0858 it gives you a detailed run down of the rescues by the lifesavers, fortunately it seems there was nothing too serious this summer.
Sad little crocuses!
Happy to report that the snow is gone. Much warmer now, but I will show you a very cool and icy photo tomorrow, stay tuned!
Your photo illustrates that you are on the tenuous cusp of spring, but Mother Nature still has some surprises in store . . .
That is so common, and yet so difficult to capture. Beautifully done!
It must be really cold with the snow storm and the rain !
A beautiful image- welcome to Spring!
It was -1C when I took this photo. A few hours later all the snow was gone and it was 4C.
oh, i like this pic!
here its warm since days now. over 20 degrees C! in march...
The yellow is so cheerful against the snow...I know the crocus' will recover easily enough.
They were in full bloom yesterday.
Brrr makes me feel cold just looking at this shot. Great capture Steffe.
