Spring Snaps From the Lake
Two photos from a recent visit to one of the lakes at Rudan. I'm calling the first one: Im @ d lake, whr r you? I sat down next to the girls on the second photo while shooting some photos of a couple of fishers. I then asked the girls if I could shoot a portrait of them, but they turned me down. The blonde said that she preferred to be behind the camera. So I told them that I might take one or two candid portraits from the path and that was fine with them.

au bord de l'eau cela donne envie, deux belles photos
Maybe she wants Richard Aventon to take her portrait!
Is it truth that Swedish women are too snob?
I like both photos. To bad the girls turned down their 15 minutes of fame.
I think the candid portrait from behind is splendid.
At least the backside is interesting...
After all that snow, these spring shots seem esp. miraculous.
Nice shots! Love to see people out enjoying the nice weather.
Like the candid shot. Soo warm!
What a beautiful place to be! :)
great photography.
Nicely done, Steffe. Can't imagine any young girl turning you down, though! Beautiful scenes with fantastic color and tack-sharp!
The back shot is very good. It shows what they were doing, instead of having them just staring at your camera. I don't think every shot needs to be full frontal.
You are a lot further north than we are but it looks so much more pleasant. Nothing but chilly rain and, of course, floods. No bright light for such cheerful photographs.
Looks like a great spring day. And you still managed to get a shot of the girls even though they turned you down :)
The first photo is just great and the second on is much better than a prortrait!
THanks all.
Too snob for what exactly?
I get turned down every now and then. Luckily there's always someone else around the corner. I shot these on the same day I met and photographed Nina and Fredrik.
