A Familiar Face
Walking down the snowy path, that leads down to the old tree this afternoon I met the very photogenic Patricia and her horse Raven, who didn't like having it's portrait taken. Last time I met Patricia she had returned home from a lengthy visit to Spain. Now she is saving up for a possible trip to India.

j'aime le regard de cette femme envers son cheval, on sent qu'elle aime les animaux
Well for an unco-operative horse you managed very well. A great image.
Beautiful lady and handsome horse.
It looks like Spring is on the way!
It's nice to meet an adventurous young lady. I'm very fond of India.
she looks so different on this photo as compared to the other! i like her in both, but here she looks more like a young woman, and in the other shes more a young girl.... funny...
Good portrait, Steffe. I see that much of the snow has melted.
quelle belle entente
I shot this with the point&shoot. I did try to get a few photos with the Digital Rebel but Raven wasn't in the mood for that sort of thing!
I'm very glad that Patricia let me take that portrait last summer. She was a bit hungover that day, if some nosy photographer had asked me for a photo when I was hungover I would probably have asked him or her to move on!
It's snowing as I'm typing this Margaret...
Nothing draws my attention more than a picture with a horse in it! Lovely, both horse and woman.
A horse lover like this should definitely move to Ocala, the "Horse Capitol of the World"!
And no, golfers aren't lazy. Why, we get up early in the morning, put on our shorts and sunglasses, hop in our carts and play through heat, rain, sleet or snow! Well, not so much sleet and snow in Florida...but heat and rain, yes! Then, when we're done we have to go drink a beer or two in the clubhouse.
It's exhausting! But somehow we struggle through.
ha. I like these two.
The look like a great couple
