We call them Eldskinnbaggar, a type of fire bug. They live in a tree trunk next to see cellar door at my place. I often photograph them as I think they are very photogenic. On this occasion they did set a new record, must have been at least 500 bugs. I was on my knees for this photo Kitty. They don't move around very quickly at all. They feed on plants.
