Lines and Curves

The Uphill Road

If you are a keen cyclist and live in Haninge you will recognise this. It's the steep climb along Dalarövägen at Åva. I shot this last week when I visited the old farm at Högsta where I photographed the collapsed barn. Oh, and before you ask it's not tire tracks on the road it's the shadows from the power lines. To see a color version use the Time Machine.

cela donne une belle photo graphique avec l'ombre des fils électriques

Well, that shot certainly shows the curves in a stunning way. I love it!

Did you huff and puff up the hill or did you manage to stay in biking shape during the winter?

I'm in biking shape year round Leif. I actually bought a new bike today! A very cool Crescent bike. Might post a photo of it some day.

Du måste vara snuskigt vältränad som du far runt på den där cykeln :)

Cool shot! I'm glad you explained about the shadows, it wouldn't have occured to me.

Interesting shadows. Not too much snow is left.

Ha ha. Lite motion har jag väl fått av att trampa runt i Haninge genom åren. Luckily most of the snow is melting away fast now. Hopefully without too many problems!

This is steep! I really didn't get the shadows here until you told us... Congratulations for your new bike!

Hur lång är backen ungefär?

Stefan Jansson said...

It's not that long Krille. But it is a bit steep. Here is a link via Googlemap.

Hi, I've been enjoying your blog for a while now. This photo does it for me. Perfect timing and a capture of some transient beauty.
