Summer Break
Most of the schools have closed for the summer now. I made a pit stop at my favorite beach on Tuesday. Two people were busy preparing the open-air dance floor for the Midsummer celebrations. Down at the beach a few kids were busy screaming and shouting as well as sunbathing, swimming and jumping from the dive tower. The name of this bay Is Horsfjärden. I know for a fact that the water isn't all that warm this early in the Summer so these are soume tough kids.

Refreshing scene!
Kids are more tolerant of cold water. When I was a child I went swimming in the Pacific at San Diego all the time. Now, the Pacific is too cold for me in California, which is one of the reasons we like Costa Rica -- warm water all year.
Bra balans och komposition i bilden. Horsfjärden är ett tungt namn i svensk nutidshistoria (om vi backar bandet några årtionden och tänker på ubåtar...)
There's a group of islands off the west coast of Canada -- Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. This looks VERY similar...
It is a beautiful little spot.
Jag var där och privatspanade efter ubåtar. En kompis gjorde lumpen i närheten och han var med i den riktiga jakten.
This is the start of the Haninge archipelago Mike. Some facts here.
