The Round Sauna

The Sauna
Not sure if a round sauna is better than a traditional one. But it is easier to spot. Here is one I noticed on a recent walk in Tungelsta. Sadly no naked people were seen nearby, that would have been a more interesting scene. In Swedish we call a sauna a Bastu.

Finding a sauna while out on a walk in the snow would be quite what the doctor ordered! Cute little building.

Nice little building.

Great find in the snow, I guess it is not turned on with all that snow on top.

Nice shot. I bet it's cozy in there.

I didn't know that. I looked up the word sauna and found that it comes from Finnish. The building could easily be mistaken for Sweden's largest brandy keg.

We sure don't see buildings like that when we go for walks in the country.

Had there been brandy inside I might have stepped it to have a closer look.

What, no need for saunas in Hartford, I'm sure there is a market there...

A sauna of any shape would be welcome, especially on a snowy day!

This made me laugh because it looks like it could roll over with all those steaming folk inside.

I hope those posts don't break while someone's inside. Looks like it's about ready to roll.
