The Greenhouse

The Greenhouse
The greenhouse in the park in Tungelsta. Used for wedding receptions, meetings, markets, flower shows and more. But at the moment it is a bit snowed in.

If the snow sticks to the roof, I presume it would diminish the warmth of the sun inside the greenhouse.

Wow. Looks at those big drifts in front of the door.

... A bit snowed in? LOL!

But it's got an elegant design and nice purity of line. It's an example, though, of how everyone's camera underexposes snow. How would it look if you made it a stop or two brighter?

This is very similar to a greenhouse at Elizabeth Park in Hartford. Pretty.

It is in fact two photos that I stitched together. There's a big information board behind me so from this angle I needed two shots to cover the greenhouse. It was cloudy and a bit dark when I shot it and I guess I should have changed the setting. Here is a photo from six years ago when two members of the local historical society are fixing the glass roof.

Lucky owner!

It is owned by the local historical association. The material used comes from some of the many greenhouse nurseries in Tungelsta.
