Glad to be alive

Glad to be alive
Last summer Leffe was on his way home to Sorunda on the Harley, when he collided with a moose. He was airlifted to hospital. He broke fifteen bones and was on morphine for three weeks. Since then I have met him four or five times. This last winter he went skiing in Switzerland. He still have a few problems, but he is back using both his Harley and his bicycle. He is a marathon runner, very fit and closing in on 70 years young.

Remarkable story. He is impressive.

I hope the moose was OK, but I am afraid to ask. If not, please don't tell me. It would be too upsetting to my mother in law when she reads of it.

Remarkable. He needs some new shoes. The shoe sole is coming off his right shoe.

He is very fit but not especially lucky.

Strange man. It's a bit vague where the cammo shorts end and the tattoos start. Still, I'm impressed by his love of life.

What an amazing man Steffe, to overcome all that and still be much fitter than a man much younger. Some people are just incredible.
