I guess it doesn't come as a surprise that the best bakery in Haninge is also the best coffee place. I am of course talking about my favorite cafe, Malmens Konditori in Handen. Henrik (in the photo),took over the cafe two years ago. Since then he has done several smart moves. Employed some talented people, like the sour-dough baker with thirty years of experience. And the friendly waitress, Andrea, that you have met here before. And the award winning pastry chef Diana that you have also met here before. A while back their "semla" was voted best in Haninge, and the publicity that followed kept them busy for a few weeks!

The best bakery in town
I guess it doesn't come as a surprise that the best bakery in Haninge is also the best coffee place. I am of course talking about my favorite cafe, Malmens Konditori in Handen. Henrik (in the photo),took over the cafe two years ago. Since then he has done several smart moves. Employed some talented people, like the sour-dough baker with thirty years of experience. Good coffee and great viennoiserie ... Plus friendly staff ... sounds like a great place Steffe.
I see the famous ikea cups haven't completely vanished.
Haha! Marks comment made me chuckle. You know what I like best about the look of the coffee here Steffe, they pour it from a jug and add the hot milk after, instead of it coming already mixed in your cup. I so wish more cafes would do this.
Nothing beats a good bakery unless it's a good deli/bagel shop! One of the photos didn't load, but it's a nice portrait.

Tough to have a popular bakery without a good cup of coffee. Looks good to me!
Looks like a place you've visited often.
Most of the times accompanied by a sweet, good coffee.
I want to go to a coffee shop where there is a place outside to sit in the sun with my dog. This looks like just the place.
Dog-friendly eateries are popular, for good reason.
I hope the owner gave the two dogs some of that famous bread.
