The tattooed arm of the law
There was a strong police presence during the Haninge Day celebrations at Lake Rudan. Mostly because they wanted to meet the citizens. These two officers stood out a bit I think. The officer with the tattoo is nick named Tessan. Her bearded colleague answers to the name Ulf. Earlier this year I met their boss Max. And earlier this summer I met their colleagues Jacob and Åsa at another event.

They look young.
Little different look to the Law there then what you'd see over here. Are they real cops of play cops? You know the 'rent a cop' variety?
It is jarring to see a pretty girl and then see ink dripping all over her arm. Not my taste.
At least they look like friendly police officers.
Thats a nice uniform....
Greetings from Pixellicious Photos
Nice portrait as always.
My very first impression of Sweden upon landing in the airport in Stockholm was to take notice of the police that we encountered in the arrival area, before we even got our luggage. The were tall, blond women in uniform.
Regarding your comment on my site today, I think I was imprecise in identifying the group as family, as I think it was more than one family and the number of children probably included cousins, not just brothers and sisters.
Nice portrait of the smiling Police officers! Her tattoo makes her look a little tougher - maybe it helps her deal with tough characters?

Of course they they are the real deal. I mentioned to them that I had met and photographed their boss.
Ha ha, could be Leif, but I think it's a good conversation starter!
You are an old man Jack...
The words "to protect and serve" come to mind!
I don't think I've ever seen a cop with a tattoo here in Tokyo. Great shot :D
The best title you could have given the photo!
They look too sweet to be real police Steffe!!
nice! but the tattoo is too much for my taste..
i think in the netherlands it is not allowed to show your tattoo when you are a police officer.
Ha, I thought everything was legal in the Netherlands!
