The girl with the summer hat
This is Emma. I noticed her outside the Port 73 shopping centre in Handen. I thought she looked like a real summer girl in her white dress, black (cloche?), hat and funky sunglasses so I decided to ask her for a portrait. She's from Tungelsta. Emma works at the amusement park Gröna Lund in Stockholm, so if you are lucky she might sell you an ice cream. On her free time she enjoys watercolour painting. Earlier this summer Emma visited the music festival Peace and Love in Borlänge. I asked her if she had seen any great bands there and she told me to check out the English indie rock band The Vaccines that sounds a bit like Interpol I think. Oh and just because Julie Down Under wants to see people with tattoos I asked Emma to pose so we could see her anchor tattoo.

je trouve qu'elle a un beau tatouage, elle doit etre amoureuse d'un marin parti en mer
NIce dress!! :)
Excellent choice of model, Steffe! (And excellently taken)
Beautiful Emma seems like such a contradiction. Her demure white summer dress doesn't quite jive with the anchor tattoo. She is a lovely looking lass.
But she doesn't look like a sailor.
Cute girl, but . . . that tattoo!
You do have a special talent for portraits, Steffe! Emma would be even prettier without that tattoo...
Excellent portrait - as usual.
She's a lovely looking young lass Steffe, how funny I bought a hat almost the same the other day, Love wearing hats. I don't mind the tattoo, just wish she didn't have it right there on her arm!
Summer hat, summer dress, summer glasses. I'd say everything about her and this photo is season appropriate.
Great portrait Steffe. Love seeing the summer look while we are still in winter.
