Winter vs. Autumn
This is Little Lake in Jordbro. An idyllic place whatever the season, as proved in this diptych. The winter half of the photo is how the lake looks today. The right side of the picture is an autumn view from October of last year.
That is so pretty, I love how you did that. I didn't know what a diptych was either so I learned a new word on top of it. I'm with the others, no idea how you do it, but the result is so cool.
If you are familiar with photoshop, gimp or any other software where you can work with layers it is quite easy to make these. Start with putting the two photos in different layers. Use the opacity tool to get the perfect overlay. Resize the bigger photo if you have to so that they match each other in size. Then all you have to do is crop the photo, and perhaps add a border.
Love how you do this, Steffe. The weather here in Australia, although varying between extremes in places at the moment, does not have this overall seasonal variation.

A very beautiful contrast. Perfect!
I don't know how you do these comparison photos, but I always enjoy them. What a contrast!
Perfect, Steffe! Wonderful in each season. I don't know how you manage to position yourself at just the right spot each time.
You do such a great job on these double photos! This is a beautiful spot in winter and fall.
Another brilliant duo-shot. I hope you make a book of these.

You'll have to give us lessons on how to do this! These are great.

Wow - it's fun to see the same scene in different seasons! Really nice photo.
A very beautiful place no matter what the season. You capture this very well.

Good point Sharon, a book would be a good idea.

You run a fascinating blog.
Books are a lot of effort with little financial return. Only make a book for your own personal satisfaction.
What a great shot and perfect editing of this photo. It's a beautiful spot and nicely captured.
